Researches, prepares and approves project related software test plans. Monitors testing parameters and procedures for compliance to approved test plans. Performs data collection, reduction and analysis activities. Assess overall suitability of software programs and embedded systems.   Develops Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPS) for use in software and systems evaluations. Evaluates Software Quality Program Plans (SQPP) used to measure and control software development risk, and assesses risk to program. Uses accepted industry standard procedures for instrumentation and monitoring of systems being studied. Evaluates task related current COTS software for use in testing. Analyze test results and authenticate the human factors concepts embodied in the proposed systems design such as safety, comfort, man-machine interfaces and number of skilled personnel required.

Monitors and provides status on technical solutions and schedules to insure implementation in a timely manner.
