Quadelta's Ononiwu Presents Keynote at DOD International Conference

Quadelta's Ada Ononiwu gave the keynote address at the Department of Defense International IFF Mode 4/5/S Users Conference and Symposium in Orlando, Fla., last month.

The annual event gathers government, industry, military, NATO and coalition members to discuss new developments in the military "identification, friend or foe" (IFF) cryptographic system that is designed to recognize friendly aircraft, vehicles, or forces in the battlespace.

Ms. Ononiwu spoke on the broader context of IFF in joint interoperability, including IFF Mode 4/5's potential to increase force effectiveness and decrease taxpayer cost while reducing accidental harm to U.S. or allied armed forces.

She has supported the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistic's Joint Interoperability Directorate as a systems engineer for more than four years.

The conference is sponsored by the Department of Defense's Air Traffic Control Radar System, Identification Friend or Foe, Mark XII/XIIA, Systems (AIMS) Program Office.

Quadelta, a veteran-owned small business headquartered in Alexandria, Va., provides engineering, technical and administrative support to departments and agencies within the Department of Defense as well as several defense contractors.
